Meet the Dentists
Meet Dr. Julee Kingsley
Dr. Julee Kingsley graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a degree in biology and chemistry before continuing her studies at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Elgin is Dr. Kingsley’s hometown and she established Elgin Family Dentistry in 2011, three years after graduating from dental school. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and Zumbro Valley Dental Society. Dedicated to continuing education, Dr. Kingsley has taken numerous additional courses throughout her career. She enjoys learning with her fellow doctors and team members and finding new ways to provide her patients with high-quality care.
Dr. Kingsley enjoys the one-on-one nature of dentistry, building relationships with her team and patients. She enjoys working with her hands and using her problem-solving skills to help transform smiles and make a positive impact. She also enjoys working with children, seeing them grow over the years, and helping to create positive associations with dental visits. Dr. Kingsley takes great pride in providing her patients with high-quality care that takes into account each patient's individualized goals for their dental health.
Married to Dan and mom to two teenagers, Liam and Shea, Dr. Kingsley enjoys reading, traveling, and trying new recipes. She also loves spending time outdoors fishing, gardening, and kayaking, as well as spending weekends at the lake with her family and three dogs.
Meet Dr. Andrea Peters
Dr. Andrea Peters graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in psychology before continuing her studies at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. She worked for four years as a dentist in St. Charles before joining Dr. Kingsley at Elgin Family Dentistry in 2013. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association, and Zumbro Valley Dental Society.
Dr. Peters loves dentistry because she loves the idea of helping people of all ages to maintain and improve their smiles. Treating people throughout their lifetimes means she develops trusting, long-lasting relationships. She’s also known at the office for keeping things light and making everyone laugh.
Married to Jake (a dentist practicing in Rochester) and mom to a 12-year-old daughter and a 9-year-old son, Dr. Peters stays busy in her time away from the practice. She enjoys traveling, following all things Taylor Swift, and cheering on her children’s sporting events. Drinking wine on the patio, reading good books, and spending time with her family and friends also rate highly. Totally obsessed with professional tennis, Dr. Peters even named her dog Roger after Roger Federer.
Meet Dr. Lydia Fleming
Dr. Lydia Fleming graduated from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska with degrees in Biomedical Science and Business Administration. She completed her dental education at Loma Linda University in California. Dr. Fleming joined the Elgin Family Dentistry team in 2023 and is happy to be back home in Minnesota! She is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Minnesota Dental Association, and Zumbro Valley Dental Society. She also volunteers at the Good Samaritan Clinic in Rochester.
Dr. Fleming believes that every patient should have the opportunity to experience gentle and compassionate dental visits. She focuses on creating an atmosphere for her patients that encourages long-lasting relationships, trust, and strong communication. Dr. Fleming loves seeing patients of all ages and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry — including dentures, oral surgery and extractions.
Married to Greg, they enjoy spending time with their family and friends and playing with their golden retriever, Tilly. Dr. Fleming spends her free time usually in the kitchen — enjoying new recipes and cooking meals for family and friends. She also enjoys soap making, all things nail polish, and playing piano.
