Ally Passe

Registered Dental Hygienist
Ally has actually been with us for a long time! She started shadowing our hygiene department when she was thinking of going to hygiene school years ago! She has helped us out in the office over the years and would fill in when we needed her. We are SO excited she is now a full time member of our team!

Ally is married to Dylan and they have a son, Rhett. Welcome Ally!

Mandi Mathison

Registered Dental Hygienist
Mandi graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She grew up in Elgin and is happy to be back working in her home town!

“As a kid, I was fortunate that the dental office my parents chose was staffed by a very kind, gentle, and inviting team. I only had good experiences there (even though I had MANY baby teeth extracted and years of braces!). I never feared going to the dentist! Now, it’s one of my biggest goals here at Elgin Family Dentistry, providing that same experience for all of our patients! One of the most rewarding parts of my job is seeing patients of all ages that are HAPPY to be at the dentist.”

When Mandi isn’t wearing her Dental Hygienist hat, you can find her husband JB and her keeping up with their three kids and all their activities. Some of their family’s favorites include camping, downhill skiing, and swimming. She also loves DIY home improvement projects and has a passion for photography!

Amy Olson

Registered Dental Hygienist
Amy is a graduate of Rochester Community and Technical College, where she spent two years studying liberal arts and two more earning her Associate in Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She is known for her warm and out-going personality. She loves getting to know patients and their families!

Amy has been married to husband, Kyle, for over 21 years. They have two kids―Garrett and Sommer. Outside the office, she enjoys watching wrestling, soccer, softball, and dance. You may recognize Amy outside of the office as she is active in the community organizing youth wrestling tournaments and also teaches religion on Wednesday nights. 

Amy’s favorite part of dentistry is helping patients achieve optimal oral health while providing them with a positive dental experience!

April Kreidermacher

Licensed and Certified Dental Assistant with Restorative Expanded Functions
April is a graduate of both Rochester Community and Technical College’s Dental Assisting program and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry’s continuing dental education and alumni relations. She routinely adds to her expertise through continuing education courses and has a restorative functions certification as well as CPR certified. April strives every day to make every Elgin Family patient as calm and comfortable as possible.

April is married with a son and a daughter. In her spare time, April likes photography, deer hunting, traveling, enjoying wine, spending time with family, and being available for her children.

Jessica Wolf

Licensed and Certified Dental Assistant

Jessica graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College’s Dental Assisting program in 2018. She joined our team that fall and has been with Elgin Family Dentistry for the past 3 years! Jessica may look like a familiar face in the office because she is originally from the Elgin area. Now she lives on a farm in Kellogg with goats, horses, and beef cattle. Jessica got into dentistry because she always like going to the dentist as a kid. She loves getting to know new patients and will make you feel right at ease with her soft spoken calm demeanor. 

In her spare time she enjoys spending time outside hunting deer and turkey, hanging out on her hobby farm, and spending time with family and friends.

Anna Banitt

Licensed and Certified Dental Assistant
Anna graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College’s Dental Assisting program in 2013. She has been at Elgin Family Dentistry for 8 years. Prior to being a dental assistant she was a cosmetologist for 12 years. The love of interacting with clients is what lead her to become a dental assistant. What she loves most about dentistry is the patient interaction, the fast paced atmosphere, and the opportunity to help people feel better about themselves.

Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with her husband Ben and two daughters Scarlett and Nina. They live on a 17 acre hobby farm and have 1 horse, 1 pony, 2 cats, and a dog.

Bouakhay Phouphommachack

Licensed and Certified Dental Assistant
Bo graduated from Rochester Community and Technical College’s Dental Assisting program. Bo has many years of dental experience as she’s been an assistant for over 25 years. She enjoys seeing familiar faces and watching families grow through the years!

She is married with two boys, Brandon and Nathan. She also has two dogs, Jaxon and Tyson. In her spare time, Bo enjoys walking, cooking, shopping, and being with family and friends.

Alyssa Thompson

Licensed and Certified Dental Assistant
Alyssa is a graduate of Lewiston-Altura High School and Rochester Community and Technical College’s Dental Assisting program. At the office, she is a team player who prides herself on working especially well with children. Alyssa’s favorite part of working in dentistry is getting to know the patients when they come back for their restorative work.

Alyssa is married to Zach and has a yellow lab named Sage. In her free time she enjoys helping her husband raise their animals on the farm. She also loves vacationing and is always looking for recommendations!

April Sommers

Financial Coordinator & Licensed and Certified Dental Assistant
Originally from Lewiston, April is a graduate of Rochester Community and Technical College, earning her Associate of Applied Science degree in dental assisting. She loves helping patients schedule appointments that coordinate with their busy lives. She may even assist the doctors in the back from time to time.

April lives in Elgin with her sister, Janell, who also works on Elgin Family Dentistry’s business team.  Away from work, April enjoys traveling, attending any kind of sporting event, golfing in the summer, creating fairy gardens, and helping out at her grandparent’s restaurant on the weekends. She also loves meeting new people and experiencing life to the fullest!

Janell “Nellie” Sommers

Scheduling Coordinator 
Nellie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a health care focus from the University of Wisconsin―La Crosse. Around the office, her knack for making friends with younger patients has earned her the nickname “the office nanny.” She is always willing to try new things and is constantly coming up with new ideas and concepts for our patients and the office.

Originally from Lewiston, Janell lives in Elgin with her sister, April, who also works at Elgin Family Dentistry. When she’s not helping patients as a member of the Elgin Family Dentistry’s business team, Nellie likes reading, traveling, being outside, playing sports, watching TV shows, being around all kinds of animals, and cooking at her grandparent’s restaurant on weekends.

Mandy Breza

Scheduling Coordinator
Mandy should be a familiar face! She worked at the school for many years as a para! Mandy is a positive presence at Elgin Family Dentistry. She loves greeting people and seeing what our patients are up to when they come in for appointments.
